The simplest gazebo. Only posts and a hip roof, with no walls, railings or floor. It can stand over existing paving, a terrace or lawn, and gives shade and rain cover without blocking the view.
Materials
- Planed pine or spruce, cut to exact sizes by machine and painted with protective paint
- Posts and frame beams 95x95 mm
- Rafters 45x95 mm, the hip roof boarded with OSB and covered with bitumen shingles
- Wall and railing boards 22x95 mm
- No wooden floor, so the paving, slabs or lawn underneath stay as they are
Good for
- A roof over an existing terrace or paving
- Cover for a hot tub or a small pool
- A place for a table next to the grill
Recommendations
- Without a floor the gazebo stands straight on the base, so the spot must be level.
- A floor or railings can be added later in the 3D constructor.
- Check local rules for garden buildings before ordering, because limits on size and height differ from place to place.
